Uii Nuxx - UI/UX Webinar

CIIT College of Arts and Technology

On July 9, 2022, I was invited to conduct a webinar about UX with the theme Teamwork. Gestalt, a Graphic Design student organization of CIIT College of Arts and Technology organized this event and opened it participants outside of their school. There was a total of around 45 attendees that day.

We covered the below topics:

Introduction to UX
The UX Design Process
Importance of Teamwork in UX
Tools - Figma basics
Resources

The entire workshop was interactive. I encouraged them to participate in the discussion thru chat while I am presenting. We also had a Figma activity where the attendees created their own prototypes as I demonstrated the basic tools and functions of Figma.

It was supposed to be an hour-long webinar but we extended a bit to finish the Figma activity to which the participants gladly obliged. After the session, the participants shared and showed their finished mockups.

I have always liked to share things about UX to my interns, colleagues and friends but this was my first time to do a real workshop. Overall it was an amazing experience - being able to share and possibly inspire other people, especially the students, to learn and maybe pursue a career in UX.
